Overview
The iron rests in a steel spiral that keeps the hot tip away from the table, cables and hands, on a heavy base that won't tip over. The tray holds a heat-resistant sponge: dampen it and wipe the tip before each joint, so the solder flows cleanly and the tip lasts longer. Fits pen-style irons, including our 80 W LCD iron.
