Overview
A switching wall adapter with the standard 5.5 × 2.1 mm centre-positive plug. 9 V 1 A is the classic supply for an Arduino UNO or Mega through its barrel jack; 12 V 2 A also runs motors, LED strips and relays (the Arduino's regulator steps it down for the board); 5 V 2 A feeds 5 V circuits and modules directly. Works on 100–240 V mains.
